Karsten Gläser born 1965 in Potsdam, studied at the FH Potsdam for design with a focus on communication design.
In his current exhibition ANYWAY - RETROSPECTIVE the artist shows his painting and graphics for the past 3 decades.
Multiple relationships, joyful, animal, profound, instinctive between humans and other living, on the strange ways of pacification of wishes, dreams and ego. Drawings between desire and reality. Drawings between friend and foe. Drawings in the space between day and night, bondage and escaping from bondage. Want to come out to light. Brush drawings, monotypy, watercolors and pastel and combinations.
