INDIAN
The Indian-painting has as little to do with India as the Indians. The oriental style, in which the motives are strictly stylized, was very popular in the baroque era due to its distance announcing exoticism. When the European porcelain was invented, initially the style of the paragons from China was adopted. This style with its east-facing name was preserved until today. Every detail of the drawing is traced miniaturistly with a brush or a steel spring, and then tinted surface wise. At Janett Noack's works, the floral decorations mix with elements of erotic physicality, an expression of the unity of man and nature.
